Hey everybody! I hope you are having a great day today.
Today, I decided to go for a walk in my local park, and what a BEAUUUTIFUL day it turned out to be!

I know not everyone celebrates this day in the same way, and some don't even celebrate today at all, but I don't think Valentine's Day even needs to be about romance. It could be about celebrating the things you love, that are most important to you, but most importantly, celebrating yourself!
I live in London, and as is pretty typical in the deep winter months it can be quite dull, gray rainy and gloomy most days. Not to mention FREEEEZING cold. And, to make matters worse, these past few weeks I have not been feeling at my cheeriest. So, when I awoke today to this glorious sunshine spilling through my windows, I thought, "heck yeah! I am not staying indoors today. I need to get some of that Vitamin D!", plus as it has been rainy, gloomy and freezing cold, I have not been taking Nosita out as often for walkies, so on my lunch break I sprang into action, put on her harness and out we went! :)
We were out for about 15 minutes when she finally had enough of the cold and made a beeline for the front door, haha. But I had another 40 minutes or so left (as I was working from home today) so I decided to go back out to the park for a proper walk and I came across this lovely little guy:

Isn't he cute! And he literally posed for me! I asked him if he would mind if I took his pic, and I slowly took my phone out of my pocket, the whole time thinking he would get scared and run away. It literally took me quite a few seconds (15 -20 seconds I wold say, and that is actually a long time!) to get him in shot and take the picture, but he just stayed put! I thanked the little guy and as soon as I put my phone back in my pocket he scurried back up the tree - great timing! and a lovely little Valentine's Day gift for me.
I then spent the rest of the time walking around and taking in the sunny, crisp, clear air, and trying to take as many uphill walks as I could for some exercise as I had decided to skip the gym. I find that when I take long walks in nature it really does a lot clear my mind and I tend to gain some fresh insights and creative inspo, like posting this new blog page today for example - it been how many months now since the last one??
In any case, I managed to really enjoy my day today, finding lovely things to celebrate all around me, not necessarily having anything to do with any romance at all!
Take care all of you lovely people, and see you in the next one!
